  • The Changing Guards vest pattern is back!

The Changing Guards sleeveless pullover or vest, is just perfect for keeping your little ones stylish, warm and cosy. This cute sweater features the ‘Changing Guards’ motif which can be knitted on just the front or both front and back of the vest. The motifs use a combination of intarsia and fair Isle techniques, for a fascinating knit and the vest is indeed a great project for the beginner colourwork knitter to learn these techniques on a small canvas. For the more experienced knitter it is a quick and satisfying kit that is perfect for gifting to your favourite small person.

Changing Guards is knitted from the bottom up with instructions provided both for knitting in the round or knitting flat. The V-neck sits comfortably on even the smallest of children.

Changing Guards is knitted in Fenella, our 100% British wool that is a ‘vintage’ 3 ply weight, finer than fingering weight, but heavier than lace. Fenella is hand-dyed in-house and we have used a combination of Marriner, Baked Cherry, Chalk, Charcoal and Forget-Me-Not for this striking sweater.
