It Cannot Fail to Please
A form fitting all-over lace sweater, featuring a flattering square neckline and with a choice of elbow length or short sleeves. The lace pattern is much simpler than it may look with no shaping required other than at armholes and sleeve heads. Designed to be worn with 4-6 inches of negative ease to really show the lace pattern off to good effect. Knitted flat in separate pieces. Knitted in my own Excelana 4ply wool in the stunning autumnal shade of Damson Wine. Now available as a single pattern as well as part of the Stitch in Time volume 1 collection. Pattern completely rewritten and extended with both written and charted instructions included and additional sizes included.

The Perfect Christmas Jumper
by Susan Crawford This pretty jumper pattern is available in sizes 28-50 inches and is knitted in Jamieson & Smith 2ply jumper weight yarn. This yarn is the equivalent of a standard 4 ply. The jumper is knitted in four separate pieces and uses a combination of Fairisle and Intarsia techniques. Full making up instructions are also included. Shaping is based on the classic 1940s silhouette and incorporates iconic box sleeve head of the period. Inspired by a 1940s vintage knitting pattern and written for today's knitter to fit the modern silhouette. The jumper is designed to be worn fitted at the waist. This fabulous yoked sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up in stocking stitch. Gentle waist shaping creates a flattering shape. Sleeves are also knitted in the round then joined with the body to work the classic diamond pattern yoke using Fair Isle technique. This Attractive Affair
This garment features an interesting construction. The main body is knitted in 4 pieces, with main back and front worked from side to side. Side panels are worked vertically and fit from front round to back. The sleeves are knitted sideways and have a separate cuff. Finally, the collar is worked in 4 separate pieces.
