The shrug is worked in a very simple two-row lace stitch and is worked in one piece from cuff to cuff. The main body is knitted using 8mm (US 11) needles so knits up very quickly. There is no shaping required and is an extremely easy pattern to follow. Requires firm blocking to reveal the pattern fully. Full written instructions provided.

Price per 50g ball - 159m (174yds) per ball 100% pure new British wool (70% Exmoor Blueface/30% Bluefaced Leicester) Recommended tension 26-28 sts & 36 rows using 3-3.25 mm needles. Suitable for all Excelana 4 ply patterns and any other patterns requiring a 4 ply weight yarn. Handwash in lukewarm water using a wool care product such as Navia hand wash. For best results soak your completed project in lukewarm soapy water before wearing and watch the wool bloom! Grown, spun and sheared in Devon.
