Miss Laverty’s Motoring Hood
by Susan Crawford
This charming hood pattern will keep you warm however cold the wind may blow. Knitted in a simple single rib in an alpaca mix yarn, this pattern is a very quick and easy knit.
This is a simple pattern suitable for beginner knitters. The pixie hood is knitted separately with shaping added at the centre back for a more comfortable fit. The front of the scarf is folded back and the scarf is then sewn in place over the bottom seam. The scarf can easily be made longer to suit personal taste but more yarn will be needed.
Scarf length 102 cm (40 inches)
