So Completely Feminine

  • This demure sweater pattern, originally published in the 1930s, features a dramatic, shaped collar knitted in moss stitch, with a stylish contrasting edge. The soft, slightly full, short sleeves and body are also knitted in moss stitch to create a pleasing texture. So Completely Feminine is knitted in flat separate pieces which are then sewn together with the collar also attached after completion.

So Completely Feminine is knitted using Susan Crawford Lomaria, fingering weight yarn, an alpaca, silk and cashmere blend, creating a wonderfully soft fabric for this elegant piece. Lomaria is hand-dyed in-house by Susan and her team.

So Completely Feminine is shown here in shade Meadowsweet with contrasting silver metallic yarn.

Our model Miranda is shown wearing the first size.

The pattern includes instructions for four sizes to fit chest measurements between 76cm (30in) and 112cm (44in) and contains clear written instructions plus a comprehensive schematic diagram and sizing chart.
