Pattern - Lady Georgiana's Jumper
This stylish yet simple sweater is quick to knit using a larger needle over a simple ribbed stitch with a decorative openwork stitch at centre front and back. The neat ribbed collar frames the face with added button detail. This original 1930s pattern is designed for the deep ribbed welt to sit on the waist as shown and is unshaped on the main body.
Knitted using Excelana DK 100% british wool from Susan Crawford in shade Nile Green.
The pattern can also be found in A Stitch in Time Vintage Knitting Patterns, Volume 2: 1930-1959.
