Excelana North is a very special blend of Excelana 4 Ply, spun specially for us to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Susan Crawford Vintage supporting British wools. Excelana North Fingering weight has been created to perfectly match the original Excelana 4 Ply. It is worsted spun for a soft handle from 3 plies of this stunning Cheviot and Bluefaced Leicester blend. It works exquisitely for Fair Isle projects as well as textured and lace stitches; responding well to blocking and holding its shape beautifully. Despite its softness, Excelana is a sturdy yarn that doesn't pill easily.

Excelana North is available in economical 50gm skeins.

About Himalayan Blue: Himalayan Blue is bolder and brighter than its sibling, Agapanthus but has very similar tones with a cerulean base creating a clear, icy blue. Susan used this clarity to great effect paring Himalayan Blue with Limestone for the Fair Isle motifs on Denby from the Evolution collection.

Care Instructions
Handwash in cool water using a gentle wool wash and dry flat. For best results, always soak your completed project and watch the wool bloom!
Please note
As these yarns are hand-dyed please be aware that there will be subtle variation between dye lots. Because of this please be sure to purchase enough yarn for your project.
