About Bluem Sock:
Bluem Sock is 75% British Bluefaced Leicester wool/25% nylon, spun at a local mill and hand-dyed by Susan here at Monkley Ghyll.
Bluem sock is a Fingering weight yarn, worsted spun with a high twist making it perfect for socks. The Bluefaced Leicester yarn is a soft but resilient fibre and combined with a small amount of nylon, it creates the perfect fabric for socks. The yarn shows off texture, cables and lace to great effect and the fibre combination takes colour beautifully.
All shades are limited edition and dyed by hand here at Monkley Ghyll in a range of shades inspired by the landscape on this hillside farm.

About Rolling Mist:
Rolling Mist is inspired by the early morning mists and autumnal fogs that creep up the hillside to the farm from the valley far below. Constantly changing tones of grey merge with shadows or are pierced by flashes of sunlight.
Rolling Mist captures those hues with dark and light tones across each skein.
You can see Rolling Mist being used to great effect in the Cloudin sock pattern.
