Bowland is a simple all-over Fair Isle cardigan, designed to introduce the knitter to the basic techniques needed to knit a Fair Isle garment in the round.
In this kit, you will receive all the colours of Susan Crawford Excelana North 4 Ply, 100% British wool you need to make your own Bowland, with a choice to include a PDF download of the multi-sized pattern or the yarn bundle only. The pattern includes photo tutorials to enable you to learn two-stranded, colourwork knitting as well as how to successfully steek your knitting to create the cardigan.
Simply choose the correct size for the garment you wish to make and we will send you your kit including all the colours and quantities of yarn you will need from the five size options shown below.
2nd size - to fit chest size 86-97cm (34-38in)
In your yarn kit you will receive two 50g skeins of Excelana North 4 Ply in shade Sweet Chestnut and Alabaster, plus one 50g skein each of Nile Green, Damson Wine, Land Army Green and Dark Mandarin..
3rd size - to fit chest size 107-112cm (42-44in)
In your yarn kit you will receive three 50g skeins of Excelana North 4 Ply in shade Sweet Chestnut, two 50g skeins of Alabaster and Dark Mandarin, plus one 50g skein each of Nile Green, Damson Wine, Land Army Green.
