This kit contains all the yarn you need to knit the stylish and practical Denby hat in either the slouchy or beanie versions.
Denby is knitted in Excelana fingering weight yarn, 100% British wool now available in a new edition, Excelana 'North' worsted spun from a blend of Cheviot and Bluefaced Leicester wools. It works exquisitely for Fair Isle projects and responds well to blocking and holds its shape beauifully. Despite its softness, Excelana is a sturdy yarn that doesn't pill easily.
Denby is shown in two colourways: The beanie version is knitted in Himalayan Blue with Limestone and the slouchy version is shown in Dark as Night with Limestone. You can choose your kit from a wide range of colour options from the Excelana colour palette teamed with either natural Alabaster or soft Limestone.
The hat pattern comes in three sizes and two style options and all variations can be knitted with one skein of each shade. Simply choose from either a kit which includes your yarn, an SCV drawstring bag plus a PDF pattern or a yarn only option if you already have the Denby pattern (also available in my book, Evolution).
What your yarn kit contains:
Option 1 (Yarn plus PDF)
1 x 50g skein of each of your two chosen shades of Excelana fingering, SCV drawstring bag and Denby PDF pattern.
Option 2 (Yarn only)
