{"product_id":"pattern-bluebell-wood","title":"Pattern - Bluebell Wood","description":"\u003cp\u003e[tabblock]\u003cbr\u003e[tab1: A very special project for our May in the Lake District knitting retreat - the Bluebell scarflette - I designed this scarflette to celebrate one of my favourite flowers which bloom at this time of year with the woodlands and parks of the Lake District awash with these delighful delicate blooms producing an intense indigo wash across the landscape.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSmall scarves are a constant feature both in the knitting world and in mainstream fashion right now, and I'm enjoying both knitting and wearing these useful little items that ooze vintage vibes, but for this pattern I wanted to create something with a slightly different construction which would provide the knitter with some interesting techniques to try.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe scarflette is knitted in the round commencing with just a few stitches and a central steek, enabling every round to be knitted. Increases are worked on either side of the steeks stitches on every alternate round to create the scarflette shaping.
