100% British wool, grown, spun and dyed in Britain and hand finished here at Monkley Ghyll.
A 4ply/fingering weight yarn, it is worsted spun for a soft handle, and works exquisitely for Fair Isle projects as well as textured and lace stitches, blocking and holding its shape beautifully. Despite its softness, Excelana is a sturdy yarn that doesn't pill easily.
159 metres/174 yards per 50g skein
Recommended gauge between 26 and 28 sts to 10cm (4in) using 3-3.25mm needles.
One of the most popular shades of Excelana 4 Ply. Mint but not pastel, light but not pale. Looks fabulous with so many other shades. Try it with Ruby Red and Persian Grey or Dark as Night and Himalayan Blue in Norwegian mittens or as the main shade in a cardigan such as Frances.
Handwash in lukewarm water using a wool care product.
For best results, soak your completed project in lukewarm soapy water and watch the wool bloom!
