Melissa
Melissa is a luxurious 1 Ply lace weight yarn for those special projects. The composition of the yarn is 70% baby Alpaca, 20% Silk and 10% Cashmere. The combination of these fibres create a fabulously soft fabric with a beautiful drape. It is particularly well-suited to shawls and evening wear and creates a stunning lace fabric.
Hand-dyed at our Lake District studio Melissa is available in a range of sumptuous shades, enhanced by the blend of the three natural fibres which make up this fabulous yarn.
Melissa is available in 100gm skeins, with 1200 metres (1312 yards) per skein and in economical 50gm skeins, with 600 metres (656 yards) per skein.
