The changes in customs legislation between the UK and the EU requires us to change the way we deal with orders received from the EU but we are doing everything we can to ensure the process is as simple as it can be in the circumstances and we hope that you will bear with us and continue to purchase from us during this complex period.
IOSS: Assa Marra Ltd T/A Susan Crawford Vintage is now registered on the EU IOSS scheme, collecting and remitting VAT on orders up to 150 Euro on your behalf. You may be charged handling or processing fees by your local post office - but no VAT or duty should be charged. Orders over 150 Euro are not currently covered by IOSS, and may be subject to import duty and VAT on reaching your jurisdiction. Digital products are subject to VAT at the rate charged by the purchaser's residence.
GPSR: Assa Marra Ltd T/A Susan Crawford Vintage is in the process of arranging compliance as specified by GPSR changes effective from 13th December 2024, and has applied for an authorised representative via EAS Projects; however in accordance with Article 51 of GPSR, the regulation applies only to products placed on the market from 13th December 2024 and as such, all products currently available on the SCV website were already available on the market in EU and NI prior to this date and comply with relevant pre-existing product safety legislation. As specified, no action needs to be taken on these products which are already on the market in the EU or NI. We also understand yarn, classified as an animal by-product or derivative, is exempt from the new GPSR regulations. However for avoidance of doubt, all yarns available on the EU or NI markets on the SCV website were placed there prior to 13th December 2024.
