Copley is an eye-catching Fair Isle hood and mittens design from A Stitch In Time Volume 3. You can now purchase a limited edition hand-dyed yarn kit to create your own beautiful Copley set using our beautiful British breeds yarns, Byre, a naturally light grey wool, spun using a unique blend of Jacobs, white Shetland and black Shetland fleeces, spun exclusively for Susan Crawford Vintage at a nearby Yorkshire mill and hand dyed in-house by Susan and her team.
Copley has been knitted in Thistle Head, a soft but warm heathery-lilac as the background shade, paired with Berry Picking, a deep, rich purple. The bold, graphic motif of Copley suits strongly contrasting shades and in addition to this gorgeous colourway, Susan has suggested a number of other fabulous colourways to knit your own Copley
Two kit sizes are available. The first providing sufficient yarn for the first size set and the second size providing enough yarn for the remaining sizes. Simply select which kit size you require followed by your colourway of choice. If you want to pick your own colour palette, simply add your chosen shades in the order comments. You can see all the Byre shades by following the link above. The kit price includes a 10% discount on the full purchase price of the yarn.
The kits are available in two sizes as follows:
1st size - to fit pattern size 1
In your yarn kit you will receive 2 100g skeins of Byre, one of each of your chosen shades.
2nd size - to fit pattern sizes 2 to 4
In your yarn kit you will receive 3 100g skeins of Byre - 2 in your chosen background shade and 1 in your chosen motif shade.
