This kit contains all the yarn you need to knit your own pair of the stunning Cloudin socks, knitted using an attractive Shetland lace pattern on a tight gauge to create an attractive every day sock. They are knitted from the top down with a traditional heel flap, gusset and shaped toe.
The Cloudin socks are knitted using Bluem Sock, a fingering weight sock yarn spun at a nearby Yorkshire mill, from 75% Bluefaced Leicester wool plus 25% nylon for added strength and longevity. Bluem Sock is a natural white yarn hand dyed by Susan and her team in a range of beautiful, semi-solid yet complex shades, inspired by the farming and natural landscape of the region.
Cloudin is knitted in Foggy Morning (previously called Rolling Mist) a tonal moody grey shade.
The sock pattern includes three sizes all of which can be knitted from one skein of Bluem Sport.
There are three kit options to choose from:
Yarn only, if you have already purchased a copy of the pattern or have a copy of Evolution.
Yarn plus PDF option which includes a PDF download of the Cloudin pattern.
All-inclusive, which includes yarn, a printed pattern booklet, drawstring project bag plus a PDF download of the Cloudin pattern.
