Marina is a delightful colourwork accessory set first published as a single sized pattern in the 1940s. The set includes a fabulous beret with matching gloves and scarf. A striking colourwork border is worked on the lower section of the beret, the scarf edges and the glove cuffs, followed by a simple repeating lice-style pattern with Limestone as the background and Swimming Pool and Dark as Night used alternately, to create a rich fabric.
Marina is knitted using Susan Crawford Excelana North fingering weight a soft, fingering weight 100% British wool, spun for us in nearby Yorkshire and dyed in-house by Susan and her team; and is shown here using shades; Limestone Dark As Night and Swimming Pool.

Kit Type One: Your yarn kit provides you all the need to knit the Marina Beret and will include 1 50g skein each of Excelana North Fingering weight in Limestone, Dark as Night and Swimming Pool.
Kit Type Two: Your yarn kit provides you all the need to knit the Marina Gloves and will include 2 50g skeins of Excelana North Fingering weight in Limestone and 1 50g skein each of Excelana North Fingering weight in Dark as Night and Swimming Pool.
Kit Type Three: Your yarn kit provides you all the need to knit the Marina Scarf and will include 3 50g skeins of Excelana North Fingering weight in Limestone and 1 50g skein each of Excelana North Fingering weight in Dark as Night and Swimming Pool.
