This 1930s pattern features a simple stitch pattern but an unusual construction. The main body is knit in four pieces, a front and back which are knit sideways paired with vertically knitted side panels, creating a neat, boxy shape. Fitted sleeves are knit side to side, then finished with a separate cuff, and the distinctive petal collar is also worked in four separatet pieces, resulting in a truly iconic sweater. It has a gentle boxy shape which is both elegant and extremely comfortable.
This Attractive Affair is knitted using Susan Crawford Cotton Breeze fingering weight, a mercerised 100% cotton yarn in 50g balls with 125m per ball. Priced at only £5 per ball Cotton Breeze is an economical yet high-quality cotton, grown and spun in Europe to OEKOTEX standards.
This Attractive Affair is knitted in two contrasting shades Oyster a warm, beige shade and Claret a delightful shade of burgundy-red - together creating an authentic 1930s colour combination.

Kit Size One: To fit 1st size pattern - chest size (81-86cm / 32-34in) and includes 8 X 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Oyster plus 4 x 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Claret.
Kit Size Two: To fit 2nd size pattern - chest sizes (92-97cm / 36-38in) and includes 10 X 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Oyster plus 4 x 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Claret.
Kit Size Three: To fit 3rd size pattern - chest sizes (102-107cm / 04-42in) and includes 11 X 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Oyster plus 4 x 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Claret.
Kit Size Four: To fit 4th size pattern - chest size (112cm / 44in) and includes 13 X 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Oyster plus 5 x 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Claret.
Kit Size Five: To fit 5th size pattern - chest size (117-122cm / 46-48in) and includes 15 X 100g skeins of hand-dyed Breeze in Oyster plus 6 x 100g skeins of hand-dyed Breeze in Claret.
Kit Size Six: To fit 6th size pattern - chest size (127-132cm / 50-52in) and includes 16 X 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Oyster plus 6 x 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Claret.
Kit Size Seven: To fit 7th size pattern - chest size (137-142cm / 54-56in) and includes 17 X 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Oyster plus 7 x 50g balls of Cotton Breeze in Claret.
Kit Size Eight: To fit 8th size pattern - chest size (147-152cm / 58-60in) and includes 19 X 100g skeins of hand-dyed Breeze in Oyster plus 8 x 100g skeins of hand-dyed Breeze in Claret.
