100% Bluefaced Leicester wool

100% British Bluefaced Leicester wool, spun at a local mill and hand-dyed by Susan and her team at their Lake District dye studio, in a wide range of beautiful and varied shades. Bluem Fingering weight takes colour extremely well resulting in rich, semi-solid shades. Bluem Fingering weight is a non-superwash yarn and should be washed by hand in cool water with a gentle wool wash.This fingering weight yarn is worsted spun, with a honey-like softness and a delightful, lustrous finish. Perfect for wearing next to the skin and everything from shawls to sweaters or hats.
All shades are hand-dyed in a range of shades inspired by the surrounding landscape and in particular, the flora and fauna of the Lake District.
Available in 50g (185 metres / 202 yards per skein)
and 25g skeins (92 metres / 101 yards per skein).
