This yarn kit contains all the yarn you need to knit the cosy Barn shawl designed for us by Skeindeer. The Barn shawl is a traditional triangular shawl with a simple Estonian lace pattern repeated throughout, on either side of a central spine. This ample shawl is knitted in our Barn yarn, 100% British wool, a lofty DK weight yarn, spun exclusively for us at a nearby Yorkshire mill from a unique blend of Jacobs and Shetland fibres. The undyed Barn is a gentle soft grey shade with subtle dark grey and black undertones.
The sample shown is knitted in Dry Stone Wall, the natural undyed Barn, but you can also choose from over 20 stunning hand-dyed shades, dyed in-house by Susan and her team. The kit contains 3 100g skeins of this beautiful yarn, providing you with approximately 675m (738yds) of this beautiful yarn to knit up your shawl. What your kit contains:
Option 1 (Yarn Plus PDF): 3 100g skeins of Barn DK in the shade of your choice plus the PDF pattern.
