About Bluem Sock:
Bluem Sock is 75% British Bluefaced Leicester wool/25% nylon, spun at a local mill and hand-dyed by Susan here at Monkley Ghyll.
Bluem sock is a Fingering weight yarn, worsted spun with a high twist making it perfect for socks. The Bluefaced Leicester yarn is a soft but resilient fibre and combined with a small amount of nylon, it creates the perfect fabric for socks. The yarn shows off texture, cables and lace to great effect and the fibre combination takes colour beautifully.
Also available in 25gm mini-skeins.
About Dungarees:
Dungarees and overalls in all their variations are everyday wear on the farm. My daughter Charlie and I even have matching denim dungarees for working in the dye studio. These fading dungarees are the inspiration behind the Dungarees colourway, reflecting the many hues of denim blue found in the cloth of those essential items of workwear.
