About Bluem Sock:
Bluem Sock is 75% British Bluefaced Leicester wool/25% nylon, spun at a local mill and hand-dyed by Susan here at Monkley Ghyll.
Bluem sock is a Fingering weight yarn, worsted spun with a high twist making it perfect for socks. The Bluefaced Leicester yarn is a soft but resilient fibre and combined with a small amount of nylon, it creates the perfect fabric for socks. The yarn shows off texture, cables and lace to great effect and the fibre combination takes colour beautifully.
Also available in 25gm mini-skeins.

A complex soft-red shade, with hints of pink suggest a red sky at night as the sun sets over the bay. The skies around Monkley Ghyll take on this dramatic tone as the sun slowly drops behind the horizon, surrounded by smouldering skies.
