About Blodini:
This stunning cowl features two complimentary Faroese colourwork patterns. Knitted in the round, using Fair Isle techniques, half the cowl shows one of the patterns and the reverse reveals the second. Once the cowl is knitted the two short ends are grafted together. This project is a great introduction to Fair Isle knitting.
Knitted using Excelana DK a soft and cosy pure wool, this double layered cowl provides ample warmth and keeps out the chill winds on the coldest of days. The colours used in the sample are Chartreaux and Eau de Nil.
The pattern includes a combination of written and charted instructions.
