A one-off knitted sample from A Stitch in Time Volume 1 knitted with Jamieson and Smith wool in a delightful shade of cranberry. This 1930s pattern features a vertical eyelet pattern on the front and back with a lacy 'jabot' attached to the front and a similar lacy pattern used on the short, puffed sleeve. This very feminine sweater is designed to sit on the waist with a slightly blousony shape. The jabot is finished with four authentic vintage buttons with an additional matching button attached to the side neck opening.
The sample has a finished dimension of 34 inch (86cm) bust and a length to underarm 12 inch (30cm).
