A one-off knitted sample of an original design by Susan Crawford in a luxurious blend of alpaca, cashmere and silk fingering weight yarn, hand-dyed in a soft green with a beige contrast. This beautiful cardigan features an all-over cabled pattern with dramatic stretch. Added couture finishing details include contrasting hems to the cardigan and the sleeves, and contrasting decorative trim to the elegant neckline and front opening. Eight fabulous authentic vintage buttons finish the cardigan.
The sample has a finished dimension of 33 inch (84cm) bust and a length to underarm 12 inch (32cm) and is designed to be worn with negative ease, the body of the wearer creating the shape of the garment.
