Melissa is a luxurious 1 Ply lace weight yarn for those special projects. The composition of the yarn is 70% baby Alpaca, 20% Silk and 10% Cashmere. The combination of these fibres create a fabulously soft fabric with a beautiful drape. It is particularly well-suited to shawls and evening wear and creates a stunning lace fabric.
Hand-dyed by Susan and her team Melissa is available in a range of sumptuous shades, enhanced by the blend of the three natural fibres which make up Melissa.
About Bianca: Bianca is the soft white undyed version of Melissa. The stunning blend of fibres merge together to create this cloud-like shade.
Care Instructions
Handwash in cool water using a gentle wool wash and dry flat. For best results, always soak your completed project.
