Melissa is a luxurious 1 Ply lace weight yarn for those special projects. The composition of the yarn is 70% baby Alpaca, 20% Silk and 10% Cashmere. The combination of these fibres create a fabulously soft fabric with a beautiful drape. It is particularly well-suited to shawls and evening wear and creates a stunning lace fabric.
Hand-dyed by Susan and her team Melissa is available in a range of sumptuous shades, enhanced by the blend of the three natural fibres which make up Melissa.
About Burnt Sienna: Burnt Sienna is softly variegated, brownish brick red which can be paired with Aperol and can be seen used to great effect in the Baillie neckerchief design.
Care Instructions
Handwash in cool water using a gentle wool wash and dry flat. For best results, always soak your completed project.
