  • These colourful mittens use Shetland motifs to create a bold, cheerful pattern which uses only small amounts of each of three shades of highly contrasting yarn. The mittens are made using a very simple construction without the need for a thumb gusset making these a great pattern for anyone venturing into circular, stranded colourwork or mitten knitting for the first time.

The mittens are knitted in Susan Crawford Bluem yarn, a light DK weight wool spun from 100% supersoft British Blue Faced Leicester wool, hand dyed in three vibrant colours inspired by the mittens' namesake, the nasturtium flower. They are knitted in the round from the cuff up and the comes in two sizes with guidance on how to customize the fit even further.  Two cuff options are also provided enabling you to choose which type of fit you would prefer. Full colour charted instructions are provided for each size.
