A Stitch In Time Volume 2 Revisited

    • The 'Trimmed with Roses' Twinset Jumper is one of the most popular patterns contained within the pages of A Stitch in Time Volume 2. It features a striped lower body which is followed by a delightful recurring rose motif across the yoke and around the gently gathered sleeves.

The pattern features quintessential 1950s details such as a deep ribbed waistband, shaped side seams, elbow length sleeves and a high neckline with a zip inserted into the centre back neck.

The striking design though is what makes the Trimmed with Roses Jumper even more than the sum of its parts and it stands out as a wearable, beautiful and unforgettable piece of knitwear!

'Trimmed with Roses' Twinset Jumper is knitted using Wold 2 Ply Fingering Weight, a unique blend of the wool of three British sheep breeds known for their beautiful fleeces, Southdown, Bluefaced Leicester and Shetland, creating a fabulously soft yarn with bounce and spring. Shown here in shades Lime Mortar, Red Sky at Night, Evergreen and Foley.

Our model Charlie is shown wearing the third size 91cm (36in).

The pattern includes instructions for ten sizes to fit chest measurements between 71cm (28in) and 152cm (60in) and contains both clear written pattern directions, together with charted instructions for colour work detail plus a comprehensive schematic diagram and sizing chart.
