Our delightful Piccina yarn kits, include all you need to knit your very own Piccina using our delightfully soft Bluem Sock Yarn, spun from Bluefaced Leicester wool with some added nylon for longevity, at a nearby Yorkshire mill and hand-dyed here at our Lake District studio with the option to add a mini skein of Mist - a luxurious blend of Mohair and Silk - to your Piccina neck scarf.
Your kit contains all the yarn you need to knit Piccina, a simple garter stitch neck scarf which is the perfect addition to any wardrobe, providing an elegant finishing touch to modern and vintage necklines alike, keeping you warm and cosy at the same time and creates a wonderfully polished wearable accessory. Knitted from end to end in garter stitch with an I-cord edging this is a wonderfully simple knit for beginner knitters upwards.
Piccina is knitted using a single 25g skein of hand dyed Bluem Sock, in any one of its wonderful shades. For added warmth and luxury you can also select an additional 25g skein of Mist, our mohair-silk blend in undyed Mallow, which also provides a soft marl effect to your neck scarf. Choose from either a yarn and PDF pattern bundle which includes your yarn, a SCV drawstring bag plus a PDF pattern; a or yarn only option which also includes a drawstring project bag, then select either Option One for the Bluem sock only option or Option Two for Bluem Sock plus Mist for a marled effect.
