This kit contains all you need to knit a pair of the spectacular Selbu Mittens designed by Skeindeer. These beautiful traditional Norwegian mittens use two shades of contrasting DK weight yarn. The yarn used is Excelana North DK, 100% British wool, a soft but robust pure wool spun for us at a nearby Yorkshire mill and hand-dyed in-house by Susan and her team in a wide range of stunning shades which are set again the natural undyed shade of Alabaster. The gloves shown are knitting using Cinnamon and Snowdrop.
What your kit contains:
1 50g skein each of Alabaster plus a 50g skeins of your choice of any of the contrasting shades from the Excelana DK range, an SCV drawstring bag and the Selbu mitten PDF pattern. If the colour of your choice is not listed please select Custom Colourway and let us know in the order notes which of the other beautiful shades of Excelana North DK you would like for your mitten kit.
