Weldon is inspired by an old booklet called Dainty Undies, published by Weldons Practical Needlework in the early 1940s. Weldon is a close-fitting, lacy garment that comes in two versions: a cropped vest top and a stylish dress. The easy lace and garter stitch panels provide a great introduction to lace knitting, and the simple shape makes this a fun and surprisingly quick knit. Both garments are knitted from the bottom up. Both the vest top and the dress are designed to be worn with negative ease, which means when looking at the sizing chart select your own size from the 'To Fit' range.
Weldon is knitted using Susan Crawford Lomaria, a luxurious fingering weight yarn created from a blend of 70% Alpaca, 20% Silk, 10% Cashmere.

Top Kit Two: Vest Top pattern 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th sizes - to fit chest sizes 81cm-142cm (32-56in) and includes 2 100g skeins of Lomaria in the shade of your choice and an SCV project bag.
Top Kit Three: Vest Top pattern 8th and 9th sizes - to fit chest sizes 147cm-162cm (58-64in and includes 3 100g skeins of Lomaria in the shade of your choice and an SCV project bag.
Dress Kit One: Dress pattern 1st size - To fit chest size 71-76cm (28-30in) and includes 2 100g skeins of Lomaria in the shade of your choice and an SCV project bag.
Dress Kit Two: Dress pattern 2nd and 3rd sizes - To fit chest size 82-97cm (32-38in) and includes 3 100g skeins of Lomaria in the shade of your choice and an SCV project bag.
Dress Kit Three: Dress pattern 4th, 5th and 6th sizes - To fit chest size 102-132cm (40-52in) and includes 4 100g skeins of Lomaria in the shade of your choice and an SCV project bag.
