About Wold Chunky:
Wold Chunky is a unique artisanal yarn spun from a scrumptious blend of the wool of three British sheep breeds known for their beautiful fleeces, Southdown, Bluefaced Leicester and Shetland, worsted spun with a defined twist to create a fabulously soft yarn with bounce, spring but also longevity. Wold Chunky is spun exclusively for SCV at a nearby Yorkshire mill.
Wold Chunky is hand-dyed in-house at our Lake District dye studio in a range of eye catching shades plus complementary neutral shades. Wold Chunky is a non-superwash yarn and should be washed by hand in cool water with a gentle wool wash
100 metres/109 yards per 100g skein.
Recommended gauge from 11-13 sts to 10cm (4in) using 6-8mm needles.
