This yarn kit contains all the yarn you need to knit a Herbert cardigan, inspired by a vintage cardigan from the early 1900s;a comforting and relaxed traditional cardigan for adults. It has long sleeves, a flattering v-neck opening and deep pockets, and is knitted in a fisherman's rib stitch pattern creating a bouncy, warm fabric. This classic garment is perfecy for long country walks or for running errands in town.
Herbert is knitted in Barn, 100% British wool, spun from a unique blend of three british breed sheep. to create a beautifully soft, airy, tonal, naturally grey yarn. The natural shade of Dry Stone Wall is used for our sample garment.
To make your purchase, simply choose from a choice of yarn kit sizes - Herbert has two length options, Standard (S) and Long (L). The Standard length is suitable for most people 5ft 7in and under with an average arm length for this height. The Long length is suitable for anyone over this height with a desired sleeve length of 19in plus.
Each kit provides sufficient yarn for the listed pattern sizes and which pattern option you require. A sizing chart is provided to help you decide which size you require. Want to change colours?
