A Stitch In Time Volume 2 Revisited

    • Classic and elegant, the Pretty for Every Day pattern unites graceful rib with fun bobble panels for a sweater that you’ll reach for daily, but never be bored by!

Described in its original leaflet as “almost classical in its simplicity” Pretty for Every Day is a straight forward knit. The front and back pieces are worked identically, from the bottom up, given you plenty of chances to get into a rhythm with bobble and rib. Well fitting set in sleeves finish this sophisticated sweater, one that you can pair as easily with a 1940s-style skirt as a pair of blue jeans, depending your mood!

Pretty for Every Day is knitted using Excelana North fingering weight a soft, fingering weight 100% British wool, spun for us in nearby Yorkshire and dyed in-house by Susan and her team. Shown here in shade Persian Grey.

Our model Lola is shown wearing the first size 76-81cm (30-32in).

The pattern includes instructions for eight sizes to fit chest measurements between 76cm (30in) and 152cm (60in) and contains clear written instructions plus a comprehensive schematic diagram and sizing chart.
