TARGET BERET YARN KITS USING OUR BEAUTIFUL HAND-DYED EXCELANA NORTH FINGERING WEIGHT, 100% BRITISH WOOL ARE NOW AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE. Please note, this kit does not include the Target pattern. The pattern is available in my book A Stitch in Time volume 2 - Revisited, which you can purchase by clicking on the link above.

The Target beret is a real 1940s gem. It features a bold crown design plus a series of striking colourwork motifs on the body of the beret. Another unusual feature is a folded stocking stitch hem at the commencement of its brim, adding structure to the beret.

Target is knitted using Susan Crawford Excelana North, fingering weight a soft, fingering weight 100% British wool, spun for us in nearby Yorkshire and dyed in-house by Susan and her team.

Target is knitted in a striking combination of five shades.
Alabaster, Coral Lombard, Icelandic Moss, Sweet Chestnut and English Mustard .

Your kit contains one 50g skein of each of the five shades used.

Choose from either the colourway shown or alternatively choose the 'custom' option to select five shades of your choice from the beautiful range of colours in Excelana North fingering weight yarn.
