Bluem Sock is spun at a local mill and hand-dyed by Susan and her team at A Room Of My Own in a wide range of beautiful and varied shades. Bluem Sock takes colour extremely well resulting in rich, semi-solid shades. Bluem Sock is a non-superwash yarn spun and should be washed by hand in cool water with a gentle wool wash.
Bluem sock is a Fingering weight yarn, worsted spun with a high twist making it perfect for socks. The Bluefaced Leicester yarn is a soft but resilient fibre and combined with a small amount of nylon, it creates the perfect fabric for socks. The yarn shows off texture, cables and lace to great effect and the fibre combination takes colour beautifully.
Bluem Sock is available in both 100g and 25g skeins.
About Glimpse Of The Sea:
A tantalising glimpse of the sea on a summer's day is a true delight. As the sun's rays hit the water, it turns a complex mix of blues and greens with flashes of paler tones where the sun bounces off the swell and deeper tones where the sun fales to penetrate and the shadows remain.
Care Instructions
Handwash in cool water using a gentle wool wash and dry flat.
