Bluem Sportweight is 100% British Bluefaced Leicester wool, spun at a local mill and hand-dyed by Susan and her team at A Room Of My Own in a wide range of beautiful and varied shades. Bluem Sportweight takes colour extremely well resulting in rich, semi-solid shades. Bluem Sportweight is a non-superwash yarn and should be washed by hand in cool water with a gentle wool wash.
It is a Sport weight yarn, worsted spun, with a honey-like softness and a delightful, lustrous finish. Perfect for wearing next to the skin and everything from shawls to sweaters or hats.
All shades are limited edition and dyed by hand by Susan and her team in a range of shades inspired by the surrounding landscape, plus an ever changing selection of vintage inspired single coloured skeins.
Bluem Sportweight is available in 100g skeins.
About Parchment: Parchment is the natural un-dyed shade of Bluem Sport, reflecting the warm-cream tones of the Bluefaced Leicester sheep from which this yarn is spun. Fleece is wonderful on its own or paired with any of the hand-dyed shaded from the Bluem Sport range.
Care Instructions
Handwash in cool water using a gentle wool wash and dry flat. For best results, always soak your completed project and watch the wool bloom!
