The Dalloway sweater is an easy-to-wear sweater which features a graphic colourwork yoke design, taking its name and inspiration from the inimitable Virginia Woolf.

This sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down, beginnning with a stranded colourwork yoke, which is worked from easy-to-follow charts. Once the yoke is complete, the work is split for the body and sleeves. It is worked entirely in the round.

The yarn kit features Susan Crawford Barn DK, one of our exclusive hand-dyed yarns. Barn is expertly spun at a local mill from a blend of Jacob and white and black Shetland wool. This unique blend creates a yarn which is both incredibly soft and lofty in the hand, as well as giving an incredible depth to every shade.

Dalloway is shown here in Colourway One using shades Dry Stone Wall (the natural undyed grey) with the dark navy blue of Night Sky as the contrasting shade, whilst Colourway Two uses two tonal shades:  Sunset Over The Bay, a warm but pale apricot as the main shade, with Rusty Tractor, a strong rusty terracotta shade, as the contrast. You can also choose any two shades from our range to create your own custom colourway; simply include your chosen shades in the notes when you check out.
