    • A stylish yet simple sweater Lady Georgiana's Jumper is quick to knit using a larger needle over a simple ribbed stitch with a decorative openwork stitch at centre front and back. The neat ribbed collar frames the face with added button detail. This original 1930s pattern is designed for the deep ribbed welt to sit on the waist as shown and is unshaped on the main body. The garment is designed to be worn with negative ease to ensure the lace panels stretch to reveal the eyelet lace pattern.

Lady Georgiana's Jumper is knitted using Excelana North DK weight a light DK weight yarn, worsted spun for a soft handle, and works exquisitely for Fair Isle projects as well as textured and lace stitches. Dyed in-house by Susan and her team. Shown here in shade Eau de Nil, the perfect yarn to show off the lace pattern to good effect and to help the garment retain its shape.

Our model Theodora is shown wearing the first size 81-86cm (32-34in).

The pattern includes instructions for ten sizes to fit chest measurements between 81cm (32in) and 157cm (62in) and contains clear written instructions plus a comprehensive schematic diagram and sizing chart.
