To Set Off Your Summer Frocks

  • This fabulous jacket pattern was first published in the late 1930s and is the perfect jacket for over a summer blouse or tea-dress. The gently shaped body provides shape to the jacket and the extra-large puff sleeves add real drama to this simple garment. The jacket is knitted in separate flat pieces and then sewn together. Knitted throughout in stocking stitch it is a great beginners project for anyone wishing to attempt their first vintage garment.

To Set Off Your Summer Frocks is knitted using Susan Crawford Barn a plump DK weight yarn, in shade Glimpse Of The Sea or Dry Stone Wall, hand-dyed in-house by Susan and her team.
