The ultimate knitted coat from A Stitch in Time Volume 2 knitted using Fyberspates Scrumptious aran weight yarn, a luxurious blend of silk and merino woo, in a soft blue-grey shade. This iconic coat is worn by Miss Marple of course in the British TV series and is perfect for wearing over vintage outfits. The wide ribbed bands are neatly edged with garter stitch and the set in sleeves keep the whole silhouette extremely neat. The unusual neckline detail is exquisite, fastened in place with two vintage buttons. A must for any vintage fan.
This sample is knitted to fit 30-32 inch (76-81 cm) chest and has a finished chest dimension of 37.5inches (95.5 cm) worn open as shown. There is also a separate listing for A Swagger Coat in dark grey to fit 40 inch chest.
