A one-off knitted sample from A Stitch in Time Volume 2 knitted using Jamieson & Smith 2 Ply jumper wool, 100% Shetland wool, in a heathered pinkish-beige tone with the contrast in a mid brown shade. This highly original sweater has a dramatic multi-point fair isle yoke which is knitted separately to the main body of the sweater and then sewn in place with a striped crew neckline finished at the back with three vintage buttons. Set-in puff sleeves complete this 1940s sweater.
The sample should fit a 34-36 inch chest (92-97cm) and has a finished chest dimension of 37 inches (94.5 cm) and a length to underarm of 11 inches.
Please note this sweater has a small amount of damage and was knitted in the late 1970s.
