A one-off knitted sample from A Stitch in Time Volume 2 knitted using Excelana DK, 100% British wool, in Nile Green. The exquisite Fair Isle pattern matches that used in the Fair Isle Jumper - the cardigan making up a twin set with this jumper. This slightly heavier-weight sweater features a lacy centre panel front and back surrounded by 1x1 rib panels. The set in sleeves feature ribbed sleeve caps against the same lace pattern. The garment has a deep ribbed welt designed to sit on the waist plus a ribbed collar.
The sample was knitted to fit 34-36 inch (87-92 cm) chest and has a finished chest dimension of 35 inches (88.5 cm) and a length to underarm of 12.5 inches (32 cm). However the garment has significant width-wise stretch and can be worn be a range of sizes depending on fit preferred.
